No one seems to have mentioned what a great weekend it was.
I woke up late on Saturday, and missed the club meeting, but got there in time
for the K-bus, which went to Marshall.
Launched around 2:30 (ish). I was not expecting a 6800 foot day.
Mark and I had a great time in the Crestline glassoff. The boating around
was soooo easy, the air was soooo clear, the view was soooo nice, I was
wondering why nobody else was there.
Mark was smarter than I was, and left to land while there was still wind in the
LZ. I was last to land, and had a not-whack just as it was turning
catabatic... the nose never touched, but it was not an elegant return to earth.
Sunday was very similar, not quite as high, probably five degrees cooler. But a
pretty good weekend for nearly November.

Fun weekend
I came into the LZ a bit earlier after a nice smooth flight. Thought I
would buzz by on my way out to the college, but then forgot to release the VG
before landing. DOH
Turned out really nice with a 3/4 LZ ground skim to a no stepper just before
about half a dozen PGs at the end ;)
It it rotated very nicely with the VG on.
Sunday Surong took a tandem with Owen and she is still excited but says she will
probably never take lessons....still thinks we are all nuts....
looking forward to to next weekend, like every weekend.....
Shaggy

Surong is So Right
We are all nutz. But in a good way. Glad the weekend flying was so
nice.
Friday report is uploading. All 46 minutes and 5 seconds of it.
Sorry, no spoilers*.
*Okay, so the video is actually longer than the flight. That's not really
a spoiler is it?

Fun flying with... EVERYONE!!!! :) the conditions were interesting and the late
day glassoff at 6,800ft was a trreat. Lots of nice lighting on the ridge
and great views with the crisp clear air.
Surong; Congrats on the Tandem flight !!!
