Every year I come home from the Rat with a few lessons learned, here's a few
from this year.
- There are, and always will be, much better pilots out there than me.
- Know your gps forwards and backwards BEFORE you launch.
- The conservative line won't get you to goal.
- Don't pick your LZ's at the last moment.
- Know where your stabilo lines are at all times.
- Drink half your margarita before you complain to the waiter about it.
- Freelance pharmacists are good.
- Bo likes women with strong hands.
- Rae Lynn makes a good den mother, but don't play poker with her.
- Always sit with your back to the wall when Dean is around.
- And most importantly...DON'T FOLLOW PIPKIN.
