Monday, 9/6/04, Labor Day After the flight today I think most of us came away feeling disappointed. It's funny because had today's flight preceded the magical day we had yesterday, I think we all would've been happy to hit 7500 and run to the high school. But, since we all had visions of a similar magical day we set ourselves up for disappointment. I too admit feeling a little short-changed... On a brighter note, the pilot turn out today was in itself magical. I don't know for sure how many pilots there were but I'll bet it was close to twenty. I personally haven't seen that many pilots at chiefs launch before. Seeing that many pilots in the air at chiefs was the best part of my flight today, it would be great to have that kind of turn out more often... |
