Problematic day with poor lapse rate and some strong NW catabatic flow in the morning and evening.  Blockage was late due to the weak lapse rate.  The lift was weak and non sustaining (extended sled rides.).  Clear skies, high pressure, and little wind down lower at midday.  Some wind out in the middle of the channel, but not much near the shore line.
