I sat on the fence until decision time at 9 am.  Debbie was showing signs of probable block, but you didn't have to look around much to see plenty of wind;  in the clouds, the tree tops, the water...

The morning VGB sounding was showing 85 knots at 18K, and with the ballistic lapse rate, I suspected the upper level wind would be pulled down.  I finally opted to pass.  Diablo did will, but needed his speed.
